Shannon Wojewoda

     Shannon Wojewoda, a versatile musician, singer-songwriter, and educator, performs with symphony orchestras, chamber groups, and touring acts. She has collaborated with esteemed artists and ensembles like Evanescence, Sigur Rós, New Music Concerts, Esprit, and Toronto Concert Orchestra. Shannon’s discography includes collaborations with notable artists and producers like Buffy Ste-Marie and Eddie Kramer. As Paisley Jura, she toured Canada, releasing three albums, one earning a Juno nomination, and innovating multidisciplinary presentations through her Secret Rooms series. Shannon, a former General Manager of the Glenn Gould School, University of Western Ontario alum, and National Youth Orchestra veteran, initiated a daily vaccine clinic concert series during the pandemic, revitalizing artists’ connection with live audiences and comforting frontline workers. She’s also a founding member of Solidaridad, North America’s unique all-female tango ensemble, captivating audiences at festivals and venues from New York to Buenos Aires.
